Change of Season...Autumn Artfulness Arises

There's something about the autumn season that I love; the crisp morning air, the smell of goodies in the oven, sitting by the warm fire and either knitting, drawing or just sipping a cup of hot apple cider. About two weeks ago we had our first fall evening. The rain was falling and the evening was dark early. It inspired us to redecorate our living room in those warm orange and brown tones. 

Last night was another one of those evenings. Victoria got out her knitting and began making a baby hat and I took out all of my drawing tools and began drawing a photo. I haven't done this in about 2 years now but every once and a while it's something I really enjoy doing.

Here's an old hobby that I've just taken up again. A friend from California came to visit and saw some other pictures that I'd drawn, and asked me to draw her children for her. So here's the first.A close up view of my drawing.
