Fall/Winter Coat...Beading

A couple weeks ago it was Eloise's 1st birthday and with this fall weather approaching we knew she would need a nice coat to keep her warm. We set out to make her the cutest, warmest coat ever using a bright pink corduroy for the outer layer and a cotton for the lining. After putting it mostly together we decided it needed to be much cozier so we added a layer of batting in between the outer coat and lining. We quilted it in and it made the perfect thickness we wanted.

We've had lots of people comment on how they love this coat so it is definitely on the list to make more of them and make boy's coats too.
She loves being outside!

The stitching around the sleeves and pockets is all hand embroidery.

Recently we also began beading the wedding dress we are making. It's looking so beautiful and I can't wait to see the finished product. We are beading it with Swarovski crystals which will add a sparkling and elegant design to this dress.
